Srinagar: CPI (M) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami has said that the people of Kashmir have always welcomed Amarnath Yatris and played a crucial role in the smooth conduct of the Yatra.
In a statement issued here, Tarigami said: “It is very unfortunate that they have to face immense difficulties to cover their commuting distances due to the halting of traffic along the National Highway.”
Tarigami said that coming off the thoroughfare unnecessarily causes disruptions in the seamless movement of traffic.
He urged upon the administration to take all necessary measures to smoothen the flow of traffic along the National Highway.
