Dr Showkat Hussain receives “best researcher in pediatrics” award

Chennai: The 6th Annual Healthcare Summit (2023) in Chennai organised by Venus International Foundation, presented Dr. Showkat Hussain Tali “best researcher in Pediatrics” award. 

Dr Tali is an Associate Professor of Paediatrics and Neonatologist at GMC Anantnag and the first national board-certified neonatologist from Kashmir.

Dr. Tali has presented his research findings worldwide. Throughout his career, Dr. Tali has won numerous honors, such as the National Research Talent Award (1997), the Creative Writing Award from the Help Foundation and the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation (2006), the EET-CRS Young Faculty Award (2017), the First Place Award for Paper Presentation at the 7th Arab Neonatal Care Conference in Dubai (2017), the Emerging Professional of India Award (2022), the Best Young Researcher Award (2022), the Global Icon Award (2023), the Appreciation Award from WHO state branch (2022), Best book award 2023 and the APJ Abdul Kalam Inspirational Award 2023.

Distinguished national and international academics attended the award ceremony.

“It is an honor to receive this prestigious award. More than achievements, it is a recognition of my hard work and determination for a noble cause,” Dr. Tali said in thanks for the recognition.
