KULGAM: On the interventions of District Administration Kulgam, BSNL has started work on the installation of 4G Towers at 26 locations in Kulgam.
The areas where tower installation work has been started include Mohmmadpora, BonKhandipora, Akipora, Khee, Jogipora, Arreh, Aawhatoo, PethKhandipora, Batpora, CheckPora Bemdoora, Kantchawa, Srandoo, AshmujiKhalisa, Adigam, Cheyan, Maskud, Muchawa, ParigamCheck, Matibugh, Noonmai, Kokergund, Kanjikullah, Yamrach, Qaimoh, Khudwani & Mah. These areas were having either poor networks or no cellular networks.
Earlier, the general public of these areas had approached the Deputy Commissioner and apprised him about the poor or no cellular network in these areas, and subsequently, the matter was taken up seriously with the cellular agencies following which BSNL has now started work on 26 locations in the district.
This move was hailed by the people of these areas and people extended their gratitude to the District Administration and BSNL Authorities.
Moreover, the concerned from BSNL were instructed by the Deputy Commissioner to ensure the timely installation of these towers.
