Srinagar: Police in Baramulla today claimed to have solved a case of theft by arresting an accused person involved in it.
Acting on a written complaint from one Bilal Ahmad Dar, son of Khazir Mohammad Dar of Salamabad Dachina, about the theft of three goats, police during the investigation zeroed in on many suspects for questioning.

Later on, Parvaiz Ahmad Mughal, son of Mohammad Shafi Mughal of Salamabad confessed his involvement in the crime, police said, adding that he was subsequently arrested and on his disclosure, the stolen goats were also recovered.
After the completion of legal formalities, the “stolen property” (goats) was handed over to the legal owner.
