Srinagar: A tourist died after slipping into a stream at Gulmarg resort in northern Kashmir on Friday, police said.
A police official said that Shalo Anand (46), wife of Sandeep Anand, a resident of Delhi, was visiting the tourist resort along with his family when she slipped into a river at Butapathri.
She was rescued and taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival, said the official, adding that the deceased had sustained a head injury.
