Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah Tuesday presided over a meeting of the party’s District Kupwara functionaries here at Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Political Advisor Mudassar Shahmiri, party leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Mir Saifullah, Qaisar Jamsheed Lone, Shafkat Watali, Qafil ur Rehman attended the meeting.

During the breadth of the meeting, the functionaries gave their in-depth feedback to the vice president about the prevailing situation in their respective constituencies. 

The meeting was also marked by threadbare discussions on organizational matters and underway party activities in the zone.

Interacting with the party functionaries, Omar laid stress on tasking YNC and women’s wing cadre with crucial responsibilities in the reach-out campaign underlining the party’s unwavering commitment to the poor with emphasis on the party’s political, economic, and developmental mission.
