Srinagar: Harmony Cultural Foundation, New Delhi today held its 9th edition of Harmony India Awards 2023 for the first time in Kashmir.
The award ceremony was held at Tagore Hall and was presided over by the Jammu and Kashmir, LG Manoj Sinha.
A total of 20 awardees were chosen by the jury from various fields of fine art, performing art, culture, cine & TV, sports, literature, administrative and social services, journalism, entrepreneurship, and others who have outshined in their respective fields.
The awardees included Farooq Nazki, renowned poet and author, Masood Hussain, reputed painter, Abdul Rashid Hafiz and Gulzar Ahmad Ganie, Kashmiri folk singers, Zeenat Zeeshan Fazil, Srinagar Bureau head of Republic TV and Ahmed Ali Fayyaz, senior journalist besides others.
