Baramulla, May 27: Residents of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district are facing a tough time due to the unavailability of an ATM at the nearby Sub District Hospital Tangmarg (SDH).

According to the locals, patients visiting the SDH Tangmarg have been demanding the installation of an ATM at the hospital for a long time but their requests have gone unanswered.

They said that the absence of an ATM at the hospital is creating inconvenience for them, especially in times of emergency. “We have to travel for over a kilometer to avail of the service, which is a challenge for those who require immediate medical attention,’’ said a local resident.

Meanwhile, an official at J&K Bank told Kashmir Images that the issue has been already taken up with the higher-ups, and we are expecting that the issue will be addressed very soon.
