Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession, officials informed Tuesday.
They said one Manzoor Ahmad Naik, son of Abdul Rashid Naik, resident of Boh was arrested at a checkpoint after 420 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
He has been arrested and shifted to police station, while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station DH Pora in this regard, police said.
