Those injured have been hospitalised.

A magisterial inquiry headed by ADC Ramban has been ordered, they added.

Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, expressed grief over the loss of lives in the fire at a hotel and conveyed his condolences and sympathies to the kin of those who have died in the incident, and those who were injured, an official spokesman said.

“Anguished by the loss of lives due to the fire incident at a hotel in Sanasar. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured,” the LG said.

The LG has spoken to the Deputy Commissioner and directed him to render all assistance to the kin of the victims, the spokesman said.
