Govt orders transfer, postings; several districts get new DCs

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of 15 officers with immediate effect in the interest of the administration.

According to an order, Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited while as Basharat Qayoom, Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama.

Sachin Kumar Vaishy, Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, vice Kritika Jyotsna, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch and Rakesh Minhas, Managing Director, SIDCO, holding additional charge of Managing Director, SICOP, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua, vice Rahul Pandey, who shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department.

Minga Sherpa, Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation, is transferred and posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. He shall hold the charge of the posts of Managing Director, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation and Director, Information, J&K, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid, Deputy Commissioner, Budgam, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag while as Akshay Labroo, Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, holding additional charge of Director, Information, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Budgam

Faz Lul Haseeb, Director, Tourism, Kashmir, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian and Abhishek Sharma, Chief Executive Officer, JakeGA, is transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Samba and Anuradha Gupta, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner, Samba, is transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, JaKeGA.

Raja Yaqoob Farooq, Additional Secretary to the Government, Power Development Department, holding additional charge of the post of Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited, is transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Kashmir.

Inderjeet, JKAS, Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, SIDCO. He shall also hold the charge of the post of Managing Director, SICOP, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.

Shiv Kumar Gupta, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, is transferred and posted as Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority.

Pankaj Magotra, JKAS, Vice-Chairman, Jammu Development Authority, is transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Power Development Corporation Limited.

Meanwhile, in a separate order, the UT government ordered transfer and posting of six JKAS officers.

Krishan Lai Sharma, Director, Sheep Husbandry, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat while as Naseem Javid Chowdhary, Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sheep Husbandry, Jammu.

Ravi Shanker Sharma, Director, School Education, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department and Rifat Kohli, JKAS, Registrar, J&K Special Tribunal, is transferred and posted as Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Jammu.

Ashok Kumar Sharma, Director, Estates, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Director, School Education, Jammu while as Rakesh Kumar, JKAS, Special Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Registrar, J&K Special Tribunal.
