Srinagar, Apr 26: Police have arrested a drug-peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession, officials informed Wednesday.
They said a police party at Khore Sherabad Pattan intercepted a suspect and recovered 50 grams of cannabis-like substance from his possession. Identified as Mohammad Ashraf Reshi, son of Mohammad Jaffar Reshi of Hanjiwera Pattan, the accused was arrested and a case under relevant sections of law registered at Police Station Pattan for further investigation, police said.
