Dagger Gunners hosts Dawat-e-Iftar at Baramulla

Baramulla: Dagger Gunners under the aegis of Dagger Division today hosted Dawat-e-Iftar at Baramulla. 

Major General Ajay Chandpuria, AVSM, VSM, General Officer Commanding Dagger Division along with Major General Rajesh Sethi, SM, VSM, Brigadier RS Rana, Dr. Syed Sehrish Asgar, IAS, DC Baramulla, Dr Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, IAS, Secretary Tourism, Culture, Government of J&K, Amod Nagpure, IPS, SSP Baramulla, Touseef Raina, President MC Baramulla and other military and civil dignitaries from the judiciary, academia, media, and minority communities graced the occasion.

The event was held to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting and prayer all over the world. The local populace of Baramulla attended the event in large numbers, showcasing the unity and spirit of Kashmir.

The Nawaz was offered by everyone present including the military officers and it was further followed by Iftar Dinner. Everyone attending the event expressed their sense of satisfaction and wholeheartedly expressed their gratitude towards the army’s effort to reach out to the people of Kashmir and welcomed such initiatives in the future too.
