Kitab-e-Kalam Mela 2023: Dagger Gunners organises Book Fair for youth of Bla

Baramulla: Dagger Gunners under the aegis of Dagger Division organized a Book Fair ‘Kitab-e-Kalam Mela 2023’ for the youth of Baramulla. 

The endeavor was a first of its kind in the entire district. The array of books was aptly suited for all ages and interests.

The fair was conducted at the premises of Chinar Nau Jawan Club, a renowned skill development center of Baramulla, and was thrown open to the students by Maj Gen Ajay Chandpuria, AVSM, VSM, GOC Dagger Division along with the launching of the book “War of Different Emotions” penned by our very own local talent Uzma Fatima. 

The event also witnessed the felicitation of the upcoming cricketing talent Ranjot Singh. Apart from the display of the wide range of books, the visiting students were also given exposure to the skill development courses being run at Chinar Nau Jawan Club. 

It also showcased the works of talented portrait artists and caricature artists from Baramulla. Overwhelming participation by the teachers and students of govt and private schools of Baramulla helped the fair to emerge successful in its very aim of empowering the local youth by gainfully engaging them towards a brighter future.
