ADG NCC Directorate J-K and Ladakh visits NCC group HQ Srinagar

Srinagar: Maj Gen RK Sachdeva ADG NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh visited NCC group HQ Srinagar during his maiden visit from 10 to 11 Mar 13.

On arrival At NCC Complex the ADG was received by Brig KS Kalsi the Group Commander and given an impressive guard of Honour by NCC cadets. The ADG was briefed on various NCC activities and issues of the group. Later he interacted with NCC cadets ANOs, school and college heads, and the NCC staff and noted their issues.

He called on Dr Nilofar Khan the Vice-chancellor of Kashmir University in her office and discussed various NCC-related issues. On 11 Mar the ADG visited 3 J&K Bn NCC Baramulla and learned about NCC activities in Kupwara Baramulla and Bandipura Districts.

He also interacted with senior Army officers at Kupwara and Baramulla and discussed ways and means to strengthen NCC activities.
