Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah met a delegation including functionaries of Block Dansal, Nagrota led by DDC Dansal Shamim Begum Sahiba at the party headquarters.
The visiting delegation apprised the party Vice President about the present development scenario in the block besides the ongoing party activities. The party VP was told that the party cadre in the far-flung areas of Nagroota has Intensified its public outreach with public grievance redressal high on its agenda.
The VP appreciated the underway efforts of the party functionaries and DDC members in shouldering the woes of the people. Exhorting the visiting delegation, Omar Abdullah asked the visiting functionaries to dedicate themselves to reaching out to all communities in the area. He also asked them that a special effort should be made to reach out to the youths in the 18- to 25-year-old age category, who should also be told about the difference in the style of governance before 2015 when NC was in power.
Later in the day the VP also met with YNC functionaries led by YNC President Salman Ali Sagar at the party headquarters in Nawai Subha, Srinagar.
