LCMA convenes 127th BPA meeting; decides 45 cases on merit

SRINAGAR: The J&K Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LCMA) today convened the 127th meeting of the Building Permission Authority (BPA) under the chairmanship of Dr. Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Vice Chairman, LCMA at Miskeen Bagh Office Complex, Srinagar.

The agenda for the meeting was discussed threadbare and a total of 45 cases were decided upon by the BPA on merits.

Among others, the Chief Town Planner of Kashmir, Joint Commissioner (P) SMC, Executive Engineer Lake Division 2nd LCMA, Executive Engineer Electric Inspection Division, Enforcement Officers LCMA, representatives Executive Engineer UEED Division 1st, & PHE, Representative Tehsildar Khanyar and Law officer LCMA as members of the Building Permission Authority attended the meeting.

In the meanwhile, the Vice Chairman Dr J&K LCMA who is also the Chairman of BOCA has requested the people residing in the local jurisdiction of LCMA to apply for proper building permission through its BPA and obtain building permission before starting any sort of construction. Construction raised illegally shall be dealt with under law & will be demolished.
