IMPARD, NCW to conduct 4th event under “She is a Change Maker” project from February 24th

JAMMU: The Jammu Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD) in collaboration with National Commission for Women, New Delhi, would be conducting fourth programme under “She is a Change Maker” project from 22nd to 24th of February, 2023 at J&K IMPARD, Regional Campus, Sidhra, Jammu, for the elected/nominated women members of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Urban Local Bodies and office bearers from all districts of Jammu.

Pertinently, IMPARD and NCW is organizing a series of Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) for women members of Panchayats, Zilla Parishads, Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Corporations besides office bearers of J&K under “She is a Change Maker” project.

In this regard, three programmes have already been conducted for the women representatives of District Development Councils, Urban Local Bodies, Block Development Councils and Panchayats.

Also, the series is being fully sponsored by the National Commission for Women, to foster Gender Responsive Governance in the system, by building capacities in the personal and official domains of these women representatives.
