“Radio remains the most widely consumed medium. Radio is like my old brother as my father used to listen to it a lot which also makes me fond of it,” S.Tariq, a renowned cartoonist and journalist quoted while interacting with the Raabta team.

Meanwhile, the Station Head, Radio Raabta, RJ Umar Nisar said, “Radio is a ‘Go to’ medium for millions of people to consume fresh and live content daily and to rely it on as a true companion.”

“Humanity is celebrated through radio in all its diversity. Radio is the most effective way of delivering information. It is a free and trusted one. Due to this, it has the widest geographical reach and the greatest audiences compared with the Internet, television, and the newspaper,” said the vibrant RJ Mehak Farooq.

As the citizens in Kashmir celebrate World Radio Day, Chinar Corps would like to take a moment to recognize the hard-working individuals behind the scenes, who bring in the wonderful programming and the listeners, who tune in each day.
