Srinagar: Police in Baramulla Saturday said that it has arrested two persons for burglary and recovered stolen property on their disclosure.

Investigating an incident of burglary in Newran Chuker Pattan, police zeroed in on two suspects identified as Fayaz Ahmad Rather, son of Ali Mohammad Rather, and Aadil Ahmad Reshi, son of Ghulam Mohammad Reshi, both residents of Palpora Pattan.

During questioning the duo confessed their involvement in the crime and on their disclosure stolen property was recovered.

Accordingly, the duo was arrested and shifted to a police station where they remain in custody, police said.
