GOC White Knight Corps reviews security situation in Rajouri

Rajouri: General Officer Commanding White Knight Corps, Lt Gen Sandeep Jain on Wednesday visited the Narian army establishment in Rajouri to review the security situation and take a firsthand appraisal of operational preparedness in the district.

This is the third visit of Lt Gen Jain in the Rajouri and Poonch areas in the last two and a half weeks where security apparatus has already been put on high alert following the January 1 terror attack in Dhangri village.

In Wednesday’s meeting, the field commanders briefed Lt Gen Jain about the prevailing security situation in the region, especially in the areas of responsibility of the Narian army establishment, an official told Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

They informed Lt Gen Jain about security measures taken especially in view of the present high alert.

GOC White Knight Corps complimented all ranks of the army for maintaining high standards of professionalism and exhorted them to continue with the pursuit of excellence, the official said.

General Officer Commanding Romeo Force and many other army officers were present during the visit of Lt Gen Sandeep Jain.
