Srinagar: Police in Budgam under the aegis of Civic Action Programme (CAP) kick-started a Winter Volleyball Tournament-2023 at DPL Budgam.
SSP Budgam, Al Tahir Gilani inaugurated the event. 16 teams from across the district are participating in the championship. The inaugural match was played between Young Spikers Nasrulahpora and Spartan Khansahib. Spikers won the match by 2-0.
The tournament is the part of Winter Sports and Youth festival 2023. Earlier, the Teakwondo Championship, Open Badminton Tournament, and Open Painting Competition were also organised by the Police in Budgam. Hundreds of youth participated in these events.
