Srinagar: Jammu-Srinagar highway, the only surface link connecting Kashmir Valley with the outside world, has been closed again due to shooting stones and stone-slide in Ramban district.

The traffic department said that thoroughfare was blocked due to shooting stones at Rampadi in Banihal area of the district early on Wednesday morning. Sources said a major slide occurred near Rampadi, leading to the closure of the strategic highway.
