JAMMU: Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C), Prashant Goyal, today chaired 10th Board of Directors (BoDs) meeting and 4th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Shareholders for the Financial year ended 31st March, 2022 of Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) here at Civil Secretariat.

Managing Director, JKTPO, Khalid Jahangir, presented the agenda and agenda notes for the 10th Board of Directors meeting. The Board deliberated on various agenda points and also approved the Director’s/Board Report for the Financial Year ending 31st March, 2022 along with other items.

The 4th AGM for the adoption of accounts for the Financial Year ending 31st March, 2022 was also held after the BOD meeting, and the 4th annual report for the Financial Year ending 31st March, 2022 was unanimously adopted by the shareholders (Government of Jammu and Kashmir, ITPO and EPCH) of the company.

The Board also approved the decision of the Administrative Council for the change of name of the organization from Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) to Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion and Export Agency (JKTP&EA) subject to name availability by ROC and further approval of shareholders/members.

In addition, some other directions were also passed by the Principal Secretary with regard to various activities being carried out by the JKTPO to further strengthen the working of the organization.
