Srinagar: Authorities have issued a low-danger avalanche warning in nine districts of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said today.
An official of the Jammu and Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) said that an avalanche with a low danger level is likely to occur above 2500 metres over Anantnag, Bandipore, Baramulla, Doda, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Kupwara, Poonch, Ramban in the next 24 hours.
The general public is advised to avoid movement on slopes, he added.
