JAMMU: Sakaldeep Rajbhar, Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Uttar Pradesh met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhawan today.

Later, Kalpana Rajsignhot, Chief Post Master General J&K Circle also met the Lt Governor and discussed the functioning of the Department of Posts in the UT and the services being extended to the people.

Meanwhile, G H Mir, Senior Vice President, Apni Party called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan.

G H Mir discussed with the Lt Governor various issues of public importance including the availability of essential items in the Valley in view of the prevailing weather conditions.

Similarly, the delegation of BJP OBC Morcha led by Sunil Prajapati, State President in their meeting with the Lt Governor put forth the issue of reservation and simplifying the process of obtaining an OBC certificate.

Later, a delegation of the Nursery Grower’s Association of Kashmir led by Afiq Hussan Mattoo also called on the Lt Governor and apprised him of the issues of Nursery Growers and their welfare.

The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to all the issues put forth by the concerned delegations and assured them of appropriate redressal of their genuine issues and demands.

Meanwhile, Nuzhat Ishfaq, DDC Chairperson, Ganderbal called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.

The DDC Chairperson apprised the Lt Governor about various issues of the public importance of Ganderbal. She also put forth the issue of the installation of electric poles in the district.

Former Legislator, Surinder Ambardar also called on the Lt Governor and projected welfare issues of the Minority Community employees working in Kashmir.

He hailed the Lt Governor-led UT administration for the land reforms and taking concrete measures for the equitable development of J&K.

Later, Nazir Ahmad Ganie, BJP District President Anantnag, met the Lt Governor and apprised him about the various developmental issues of Anantnag pertaining to the augmentation of healthcare facilities, road widening, and other such matters.

Meanwhile, the Travel Agents Association of Jammu led by its President Capt Anil Gour (Retd.) also met Lt Governor and put forth various issues regarding tour operators and travel agents, and the promotion of tourism in Jammu.

The Lt Governor gave a patient hearing to the demands put forth by members of the delegations and assured appropriate redressal of all their genuine issues and demands.
