MHA orders promotion of 20 IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre to DIGP grade

Srinagar: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India on Friday ordered promotion of 20 IPS officers of AGMUT cadre, presently posted in the cadre or on the central deputation to the DIGP grade.

An order issued by Under Secretary to Government of India, Rakesh Kumar Singh, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads that 13 IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre presently posted in the cadre are hereby promoted to the DIGP grade (LEVEL-13 In The Pay Matrix) w.e.f. 01-01-2023 or from the date of assumption of the charge.

The 13 IPS officers include Imtiaz Ismail Parray (AGMUT-2009), Monika Bhardwaj (AGMUT-2009), Dr. A. Koan (AGMUT-2009), Guarav Sharma (AGMUT-2009), R Sathiyasundaram (AGMUT-2009), Dr. Ashok Malik (AGMUT-2009), Asif Md. Ali (AGMUT-2009), Pramod Singh Kushwah (AGMUT-2009), Amit Roy (AGMUT-2009), Mangesh Kashyap (AGMUT-2009), Shivendra Kant Tewari (AGMUT-2009), Umesh Kumar (AGMUT-2009) and H Ramthlengliana (AGMUT-2009).

The order further reads that seven more IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre, presently posted on central deputation are hereby granted Proforma promotion in the DIGP Grade (LEVEL-13 In The Pay Matrix) w.e.f. 01-01-2023 and on the actual basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of their immediate junior in the cadre.

The seven IPS officers include Shailendra Kumar Mishra (AGMUT-2009), Jasmeet Singh (AGMUT-2009), Rahul Malik (AGMUT-2009), Ved Prakash Surya (AGMUT-2009), Kathik Kashyap (AGMUT-2009), Vijayanta Arya (AGMUT-2009) and Priyanka Kashyap (AGMUT-2009).

This issues with the approval of competent authority, the order reads.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India on Friday promoted 15 IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre, presently posted in the cadre to the selection grade.

As per an order issued by Under Secretary to the Government of India, Rakesh Kumar Singh, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Observer (KNO), 15 IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre, presently posted in the cadre are hereby promoted to the selection grade (LEVEL-13 IN THE PAY MATRIX) w.e.f. 01-01-2023 or from the date of assumption of charge.

The officers include Benita Mary Jaiker (AGMUT:2010), Rayees Mohammad Bhat (AGMUT:2010), Shweta Chauhan (AGMUT:2010), Amit Sharma (AGMUT:2010), Sagar Singh Kalsi (AGMUT:2010), Rajendra Prasad Meena (AGMUT:2010), Patil Shridhar Daulu (AGMUT:2010), Esha Pandey (AGMUT:2010), Brijendra Kumar Yadav (AGMUT:2010), Chandan Chowdhary (AGMUT:2010), Rajiv Ranjan Singh (AGMUT:2010), Sanjay Bhatia (AGMUT:2010), Dinesh Kumar Gupta (AGMUT:2010), Varsha Sharma (AGMUT:2010) and Rakesh Kumar (AGMUT:2010).

“Further, Dr. Eish Singhal, IPS (AGMUT:2010), Shri Rajiv Omprakash Pande, IPS (AGMUT:2010), and Shri Santosh Kumar Meena, IPS (AGMUT:2010) presently posted on Central Deputation are hereby granted Proforma Promotion in the Selection Grade (LEVEL-13 IN THE PAY MATRIX) w.e.f. 01.01.2023 and on the actual basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge of their immediate junior in the cadre,” the order reads, adding that this issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
