JKPCC organizes cake-cutting ceremony to mark Christmas celebrations

Jammu: To mark the celebration of the Christmas festival, a Christmas Cake-cutting ceremony was organized by senior Congress leader Thomas Khokhar in presence of JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani, JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla, Incgarge Bharat Jodo Yatra J&K GA Mir, Co-Coordinator GN Monga. 

Speaking on the occasion, JKPCC Chief said, the true spirit of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ which brings more enjoyment with feasting and good clothes. He also said it is a time to rejoice and reconnect with God and to invite His presence into their homes remembering that he gave His only son to save mankind from the punishment of sins and gives everlasting life to all who believe.

Asking Congressmen and women to celebrate the joyous season in the true spirit, Wani urged the gathering to inculcate a God-fearing attitude in all party activities so that the doors to the promised blessings might be opened. He further conveyed best wishes to the party rank and file.

JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla who also addressed the celebration, appreciated the selfless contributions of the party rank and file for their unwavering support and exhorted all Congressmen and women to continue with the same spirit. Exuding optimism that brighter days are approaching, he encouraged the gathering to remain sincere and steadfast. “May this festival bring happiness, prosperity, and prosperity in your life. May the flowers of compassion and harmony flourish in everyone’s heart. Everyone should be happy, be happy, this is what I wish.”

Bhalla, in his message, noted that Christmas is a joyous occasion to celebrate the birth of Jesus and cherish his ideals. “His life symbolizes love, forgiveness, truth, compassion, brotherhood, and sacrifice. I wish this Christmas to bring boundless joy, love, peace, and prosperity to all. In the true spirit of Christmas, let us resolve to make this world more prosperous, healthy, peaceful, and compassionate,” he said.

In charge, Bharat Jodo Yatra J&K GA Mir stated that the teachings of Jesus Christ, who spread the values of peace, compassion, tolerance, and love to the world, contributed to the universal human brotherhood. Mir said that on one hand, the fields of science and technology are progressing immensely and on the other hand human values are becoming extinct. “At this juncture, Christ’s teachings are relevant. It is indispensable to practice the great virtue of forgiving the enemy, showing love, compassion, and patience towards fellow human beings,” he said.
