Srinagar, Dec 17: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a drug-peddler in Ganderbal and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police party during a cordon and search operation at Gadoora recovered crushed cannabis with a seeds-like substance from a tin shed of Abdul Majeed Bhat, son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, resident of Baran Pattan, presently residing at Gadoora, a police spokesman informed.
He said the accused has been arrested while a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal and further investigation was taken up.
