BJP proxy rule has failed, elections only way out to improve situation: JKPCC Chief
FacebookTwitterWhatsapp

Basohli: JKPCC Chief Vikar Rasool Wani has said that the proxy rule of BJP in Jammu and Kashmir has failed on fronts especially in coming to the expectations of people and early elections are the only way out to improve the situation and solving people’s problems.

Addressing largely attended workers’ rally at Basohli today organised by DCC Kathua led by Pankaj Dogra and under the leadership of Sanjay Razdan, JKPCC Chief along with working president Raman Bhalla lashed out at the BJP for its failure on all fronts in Jammu and kashmir especially in controlling targetted killings of minorities and in dealing with day to day problems faced by the common people.

He said that a bureaucratic rule can’t be substituted for an elected government, since the LG administration is answerable to none except BJP and the central government. He said that targetted killings has caused fear amongst common man especially minorities employees working there for years, who have migrated to Jammu or other safer places, the army says there are more than 300 militants active but the government claims there is improvement in the situation but it is neither restoring statehood nor holding elections.

Vikar Rasool said BJP rules Jammu and kashmir by proxy and tries to take credit for every good thing done by the LG admin but puts the blame on the LG administration where ever there is a failure. They have failed to come up to the expectations of people, especially in Jammu for which BJP shall face the outcome.

JKPCC Chief claimed that congress will emerge stronger as and when elections take place and no government will be formed without congress, Vikar Rasool said, adding it will form the next government with like-minded parties.

Addressing the gathering working president Raman Bhalla alleged that Jammu suffered a lot under the BJP regime and asked people to question BJP the achievements after the abrogation of special status, downgrading of the state, and our rights to land and jobs.

He said BJP has crushed poor people under unprecedented price hikes and record unemployment with no job opportunities. Whatsoever recruitments were done, witnessed large-scale bunglings and scams, he added.

He said that BJP only snatched the dignity, status, rights, jobs, and business opportunities from the locals, and people are hard-pressed on all fronts and every section is a victim of BJP’s policies and programmes.
