Admission for classes 6 & 9 starts at Sainik School Nagrota

NAGROTA: The online registration for admission in the academic session 2023-24 for classes 6 & 9 has started at Sainik School Nagrota. 

“Interested parents who wish to enrol their children in Sainik School Nagrota, can visit the official website https://aissee.nta.nic.in and fill out the Online Admission Form 2023- 24,” said PRO (Defence) Srinagar.

“The last date for filling out the online form is 30 Nov 2022 till 5.00 PM. Attractive scholarships are also given to eligible students. Reservation for J&K/Ladakh domicile Students and SC/ST/OBC/Defence category students along with Examination Scheme/duration/ Medium/Syllabus of examination and important dates, etc., relating to the exam are contained in the Information Bulletin hosted on www.nta.ac.in/ https://aissee.nta.nic.ac.in,” the PRO said.

“For more than 50 years, Sainik School Nagrota has been the dream school for thousands of parents and young children who aspire of donning the uniform of the Armed Forces or yearn to excel in other professional fields such as Medical, Engineering, Civil Services, police, etc,” he said.

The PRO further said: “Since 2021 Girls are also joining this esteemed institution with all vigour and enthusiasm. Admission to Sainik School Nagrota is done through the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) conducted every year in January by the National Testing Agency (NTA).”

“Through this examination, admission is done in classes VI and IX of all Sainik Schools across the country. The age of the child should be between 10 to 12 years for admission in class VI of Sainik School Nagrota, while for admission in class IX the age limit should be between 13 to 15 years. Admission is done on the basis of the student’s performance in the entrance examination and medical fitness,” he added.
