Srinagar: Police on Friday said it has recovered a missing mother-child duo from Rajasthan.
Police spokesman said on October 29, Police Station Budgam received a written complaint from a resident of Chandpora Budgam stating that his sister and her two-year-old daughter were missing since October 27, 2022.
A missing report was registered at Police Station Budgam and search was initiated. A special police team raided various locations following inputs and traced out the missing duo from Rajasthan, police spokesman said, adding that they were subsequently brought to Budgam.
After fulfilling all legal formalities, the mother-daughter duo was handed over to their family, police said without sharing details on how the missing duo had reached Rajasthan.
