Abdul Rashid Lone joins Peoples Conference

Srinagar: Abdul Rashid Lone, former Superintendent Engineer and prominent social activist from Trehgam, Kupwara today joined the Peoples Conference. 

He was welcomed into the party by PC President Mr. Sajad Gani Lone

Abdul Rashid Lone is an alumnus of Sainik School Nagrota and REC, Srinagar (now NIT). He served as an engineer in the J&K government and is a former Superintendent Engineer.

PC President Sajad Lone while welcoming him said that the party will immensely benefit from his experience in public life.

“I wholeheartedly welcome Abdul Rashid Lone into the caravan of change. Mr. Rashid Lone has remained in touch with his roots in his native district Kupwara & has been an active and prominent social activist. Educated people like Abdul Rashid Lone, who have a lot of exposure and experience, will go a great way in bettering the lives of the people of J&K and in contributing to our dream of change,” he said.

Abdul Rashid Lone, on the occasion, expressed pleasure in joining the Peoples Conference. He said that the sincerity of thought of the party President, the history of service, and the sacrifice of the party obliged him to join the PC and vowed to take forward the mission and agenda of the party.

“I want to participate and, to the extent that I can, contribute to this overall change by working within the aegis of the PC. I will work alongside the party’s rank and file in ensuring that the party’s flag flies high in J-K,” he added.
