Candles lit, prayers held in memory of Police Martyrs

Srinagar: To pay tributes to the martyrs, a function was organized today evening at Police Martyrs Memorial Railway Head, Jammu. 

The lighting of candles, diyas and prayers were held in memory of Police Martyrs.

Local people, families of martyrs, and police officers attended the event and paid their homage by lighting candles and diyas.

The function was attended by senior PWWA members namely Smita Singh, Sarita Chouhan, IAS, Deepika Gupta, Radhika Sharma, Nazia Latiffi, Dr Sharminder Kour, Satwinder Kour, Parwinder Kour, Shally.

On the occasion Police Officers Chandan Kohli, SSP Jammu, Sri Shiv Kumar Sharma, SSP SIA, Jammu, Randheer Singh, SSP Anita Sharma, CO IRP 14th Bn, Rashmi Wazir, CO Women Bn Jammu, Shahzad Ahmad Salaria, SSP APCR Jammu, Rajinder Katoch, SO to DIG JKS Range, Kulbir Handa, SP North, Mamta Sharma, SP South Jammu, Madhu Bandral, DyCO IRP 15th Bn, Albeena Malik, SDPO Railways and Manjeet Singh, DySP IRP 14th Bn were also present and paid tributes to the fallen heroes.
