Yuva Utsav-Yuva Samvaad 2022-23 held at GDC Pulwama

PULWAMA: Yuva Utsav-Yuva Samvaad 2022-23 was today organized at Government Degree College Boys Pulwama by Nehru Yuva Kendra Pulwama under the theme “National Unity & Solidarity”.

On the occasion, Justice retd. Hasnain Masoodi (Member Parliament) presided over the prize distribution function and State Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangthan was also present.

The MP encouraged functions to be organised on this pattern to promote solidarity for the achievement of sustainable development.

During the daylong programme, six events including Writing Poetry, Painting, Photography, Declamation, Cultural event and Yuva Samvad were organised.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports organized this programme for celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in which 300 youth from different blocks of Pulwama participated in all 6 events. A panel of 19 Judges judged all events to select Ist, 2nd and 3rd positions.

All the winners were given cash prizes and certificates. The inaugural function was inaugurated by Principal Govt. Degree College Boys Pulwama Farooq Ahmad Andrabi.

The VIP’s/Guests appreciated the initiatives taken by the NYKS in the country especially in Pulwama.

Mohammad Khalil Mir, Deputy Director Nehru Yuva Kendra Pulwama, members from different NGO’s & NSS were also present in the function.
