Advisor Bhatnagar addresses 13th JKIDA Conference at Kashmir University

SRINAGAR: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar today remarked that oral health is an essential part of your overall health and well-being and we must prioritize our dental care also like other daily needs.

The Advisor made these comments while addressing the inaugural session of the 13th J&K Indian Dental Association (JKIDA) Conference at the Convocation Complex of the University of Kashmir here.

Addressing the large gathering of dentists, scholars, and researchers, Advisor Bhatnagar maintained that oral health is as important as our other daily needs and it should be our endeavour to focus on our dental care.

Highlighting the significance of his conference, the Advisor said that this conference will help the doctors to showcase their talent and help them to get abreast with the latest innovations and technological advancements in the field of dentistry. He added that the conference will also help to train the dentists for better service delivery of dental care to common masses.

Speaking about the recent developments in terms of medical infrastructure here, Advisor Bhatnagar remarked that the present LG-led administration is making remarkable strides and achievements in establishing world-class infrastructure here. He highlighted that seven new Medical Colleges, two AIIMS, two states of art cancer institutes, and other medical institutions have been established in the last three years which have significantly improved the healthcare management here.

The Advisor on the occasion also felicitated several doctors and researchers.

Among others, the inaugural session was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, the University of Kashmir, Prof Nelofar Khan; Director SKIMS, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad Koul; researchers and doctors from several states and other eminent scholars.
