“Near about 30 educational blocks across the valley are without Zonal Heads which has left the whole education system in shambles. More than 100 schools in the valley are without principals and lecturers. How will the system function without adequate resources and teaching staff?” Vakil asked.

Vakil stressed upon the Lt Governor to take serious notice of the problem as the future of the younger generation is involved and take immediate steps to set the system right by providing Heads to the institutions and required staff as per the prescribed norms.

Central Incharge Eidgah Constituency Mohammad Sulaiman Bhat also stressed upon the government to formulate a transfer policy for ReT teachers and also take immediate steps to regularise them so that they can perform their duties with dedication.
