BARAMULLA: To commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (AS), the Shia Association Chinabal Pattan today carried out mourning processions to observe the day with all devotion and religious fervor.
On the occasion, a mourning processions rally was carried out from Chinabal Pattan in which thousands of people from various areas joined to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Zainul Abideen (RA) and paid rich tributes to his services and sacrifices.
The mourning processions was carried out on Srinagar Baramulla National Highway and later culminated at Imambara Kokar Pora Mirgund.
Meanwhile, all the arrangements were put in place by District Administration Baramulla for the convenience of the mourners for which Shia Association expressed gratitude to the administration for the seamless arrangements.
Earlier, a Majlis e Marsi was held at Chinabal Pattan wherein the mourners paid tributes to the martyrs of the Karbala massacre. President Shia Association Molvi Imran Raza Ansari addressed the mourners.
