JKTPO organized virtual session on “Valuation of StartUp”

JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organization (JKTPO) today organized a virtual session for J&K-based StartUps on Valuation of StartUp with domain experts from StartUp India and Ernst & Young.

The objective of this virtual session was to educate entrepreneurs about valuation of their StartUp in order to negotiate with Investors while raising funds against equity for their StartUp.

Managing Director, JKTPO, Dr Devansh Yadav spoke about the importance of StartUp Valuation knowledge for StartUp founders before pitching their ideas & ventures in order to receive good valuation as well as appropriate ticket size of investment from Investors and Venture Capitalists.

Shreeram Iyer from Ernst & Young, Pallavi Gupta & Anubhav Kumar Das from StartUp India were part of expert committee who had virtual interaction with every StartUp founder and discussed about valuation of their respective StartUp. Founders got personal attention and discussed their queries and got the valuable inputs from the committee.

StartUps from J&K like Genetico, Saffron Mart, Daskdan Innovations, Pure Mart, EcoKash, Ride IT, Aquaplex and others attended this virtual session and got valuable suggestions & advice from domain experts.

This exercise was part of pre-event session for the upcoming StartUp event “INNOVATION FEST 2022” which is going to be organized in September 2022 by JKTPO and Higher Education Department, Govt. of J&K.
