Ensure PM-KISAN benefits all eligible beneficiaries: Atal Dulloo

JAMMU: Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture Production Department, Atal Dulloo, chaired a meeting to review progress on various activities being undertaken regarding the PM-KISAN scheme in the UT at the Civil Secretariat here today.

He impressed upon the stakeholders to ensure that the twelfth installment of PM-KISAN is released in favor of the beneficiaries. He instructed all District Development Commissioners to upload 28 column form provided by the Government of India, on the portal within ten days.

The ADDCs were also directed to monitor the day-to-day performance in this regard and to submit a daily report to the Additional Chief Secretary.

The ACS marked District Nodal Officers of PM-KISAN responsible for the resolution of all pendency in e-KYC within a period of 10 days. Lead Bank Managers of all the districts shall take all possible steps and mobilize the manpower in all the bank branches within the territorial jurisdiction of their districts to ensure that the pendency on account of Aadhar saturation of bank accounts of all PM-KISAN beneficiaries is minimised to zero, stressed the ACS. 

All District Development Commissioners were asked to submit Assami-wise details of PoJK refugees and local allottees of state land, within a period of ten days for the perusal of the Lieutenant Governor.

District Lead Bank Managers were directed to provide a list of all government employees and pensioners who have been taking undue benefits of the PM-KISAN. Similar instructions were also passed for several other ineligible beneficiaries.

All Chief Agriculture Officers were told to launch special drives to register left-out eligible beneficiaries.

Those present at the meeting included Commissioner Secretary Revenue, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri; Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar; Commissioner Survey & Land Records Kumar Rajeev Ranjan; Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Jammu, KK Sharma among District Development Commissioners, ADDCs, and Chief Agriculture Officers among other officers.

Officers from the Kashmir division participated in the meeting through virtual mode. 

The ACS later reviewed Cluster Development Programme Shopian in which officers from the Horticulture Department apprised him of the steps being taken with regards to the programme. The officers were instructed to increase coordination and remove bottlenecks in order to spearhead progress on the programme.
