The Muharram procession will also be taken out at Bemina and other places including Budgam district, in Pattan and Delina areas of Baramulla district, Wularhama Pahalgam, Sofi Pora, Halkha, Chaturgund in South Kashmir.

Meanwhile, on the eve of Ashoora, the authorities here have decided not to impose any restrictions of internet in Srinagar.

A top police official told KNO, “However, there will be curbs on traffic movement on traffic routes of Srinagar due to huge gatherings in rally/rallies.”

Pertinently, the Muharram processions were taken out today in Baba Demb area, Rainawari and Gow Kadal areas of Srinagar in which large number of Shia Muslims participated and paid tributes to the Karbala martyrs.
