Srinagar: In a shocking incident, a girl died and a boy gor critically injured as both tried to end their lives.
Hailing from Harwan area of Srinagar, a boy (name withheld) attempted to end his life by hanging but was rescued and rushed to a hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
Sources said that the boy was having an affair with a girl from the same area who after hearing about his suicidal attempt also hanged herself.
However, she (name withheld) wasn’t lucky like her lover, and died.
Police has registered cases and initiated investigations, sources said.
