Recruitment process for Agniveers begins in UT’s of J&K, Ladakh

Srinagar: Online registration for recruitment into Indian Army as Agniveers under Agnipath scheme has  commenced with effect  from 05 Jul 2022 for the aspirants of the UT’s of J&K and Ladakh.

A defence spokesman, in a statement said that the recruitment rally by Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar will be conducted from 17 Sep to 30 Sep 2022 at Haiderbeig, Pattan, UT of J&K.

“All eligible unmarried male candidates born between 01 Oct 1999 to 01 Apr 2005 (both dates inclusive) with requisite educational qualifications from UT of J&K belonging to Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam districts and UT of Ladakh belonging to Leh and Kargil districts can apply for enrolment under categories of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical and Agniveer Tradesmen.

“Registration is open online at website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in with effect from 05 Jul 2022 to 03 Aug 2022. Candidates are advised to register online at the earliest,” said the spokesman.

He said that Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar has advised that recruitment is a free service and selection is fair and purely based on merit.  No money is required to be paid to anyone and details can be obtained on Email ID – arosrinagar123@gmail.com & Landline Nos 0194-2311282 & 0194-2310164.

Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Pandurang K Pole today held a brief meeting  with Director Recruiting, Army Recruiting Officer, Col G Suresh to discuss the recruitment rally as per newly announced AGNIPATH in Kashmir and other related issues.

Div Com appealed to the youth of valley to avail this golden opportunity to get enrolled into Indian Army as Agniveers.

He asked all the Deputy Commissioners to paste the recruitment notice on notice boards in DC offices for the information of general public.
