Srinagar: The Kargil Victory Flame was received at Shalateng Garrison today.
The Victory Flame was escorted by serving Army Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, Other Ranks, Ex-Servicemen, School Children and Teachers of Army Goodwill School Hanzik, in a Victory March.
The Victory Flame was thereafter taken to the Shalateng War Memorial for a Guard of Honor and Wreath Laying ceremony, where General Officer Commanding, Counter Insurgency Force (Kilo), Station Commander, Veteran & Students laid a wreath and paid their proud tributes to the Kargil War Heroes.
