Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 68 fresh positive cases of Covid-19, taking the total number of positive cases to 454933, officials said.
They said that 53 new cases were reported from Jammu division and 15 from Kashmir division.
“Out of 454933 positive cases, 405 are active positive (285 in Jammu division and 120 in Kashmir division), 449772 have recovered and 4756 have died (2331 in Jammu and 2425 in Kashmir division) so far,” officials said.
Providing district-wise breakup for positive cases that were reported today, officials said that Jammu district reported 44 cases; Srinagar, 14; Samba, 04; Kathua, 02 cases; Udhampur, 03 and Kupwara reported 01 new case.
They said that no other district across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir reported any fresh case.
Officials further said that 11,030 doses of Covid vaccine were administered in the last 24 hours bringing the cumulative number of doses administered across J&K to 2,32,60,661.
