Prepaid ticket counter facility inaugurated at Doodhpathri

BUDGAM: The Director Tourism Kashmir, GN Itoo and Deputy Commissioner Budgam Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today jointly inaugurated a prepaid ticket counter facility at Parhez Maidan in Doodhpathri.

On the occasion, Director Tourism and DC Budgam also distributed licenses among the registered pony wallas.

Speaking on the occasion, the Director said that the facility shall regulate the operation of pony wallas and tourists can avail the facility of pony ride at an ease without facing any inconvenience.

He said that the Tourism department is promoting these tourist destinations and is ensuring that better facilities are available to the tourists at Doodhpathri and Yusmarg.

DC Budgam who also spoke on the occasion said that all efforts are on to promote this destination at par with other famous destinations and create all required infrastructure at this destination.

CEO DDA, SDM Khansahab, Deputy Director Tourism, AD Tourism were also present on the occasion.
