Prominent among those who were present on the occasion include District President/Provincial Secretary, Dr Rohit Gupta, District Kathua President Ex-MLA Prem Lal, State General Secretary Youth Wing, Abhay Bakaya, Provincial Secretary, Vishal Jotshi, District President Youth Wing, Shivam Choudhary, Senior Vice President, District Youth Wing, Sandeep Vaid.

While welcoming him into the Party, Manjit Singh said that the Party has received overwhelming response from every nook and corner of the region.

In his address, he said that “The present situation shows that the bureaucracy has completely failed to handle the situation and the development has stopped in J&K with no headway to complete the long pending projects.”

He said that the PDD has not been able to provide round the clock electricity in fully metered areas of Jammu, clean drinking water is not available and the people have become dependent upon private service of supplying drinking water through water tankers.

On the other side, he said that Jammu Municipal Corporation has also not been able to complete the Smart City Project.

“The project work is going at a snail pace. The city has become a symbol of scattered garbage, sign boards, and multiple wires on the electric poles. Different Depts have no coordination as one completes tile work, then another department comes to lay wiring or start digging work due to which the public money is wasting,” he added. Other Party leaders also spoke on the occasion and highlighted various issues.

Meanwhile, a meeting was organised at the Apni Party Office under the leadership of Provincial President Jammu, Manjit Singh.

In this meeting, Manjit Singh discussed organizational and public issues during the meeting which was attended by District President Dr Rohit Gupta, Vice President Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo, Abhishek Goswami, Deepak Bradoo, District President Jammu Legal Cell, Adv Gourav Sharma, Vice President Women Wing Pavneet Kour, District President Youth Wing Shivam Choudhary and others.
