Srinagar: A suspicious gunny bag lying by roadside created bomb scare at Rawalpora area in uptown Srinagar on Sunday.
Quoting official sources, news agency GNS reported that the suspicious bag was found this morning.
Soon police and CRPF rushed to the spot and subsequently called the Bomb Disposal Squad while the traffic through the area was suspended.
A senior police officer said the bag was found empty, following which traffic through the area was restored.
