Justice Wani inspects Munsif Court at Tangdar

KUPWARA: Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Judge High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, who is also Administrative Judge for District Kupwara today visited Tangdar and Teetwal areas of Kupwara district to take stock of the Judiciary profile of the border and far-flung area.  

On reaching Tangdar, Justice Wani was given a warm reception and a guard of honor.

Justice Wani was accompanied by Principal District & Session Judge Kupwara, Tasleem Arief; SDM Karnah Dr. Gulzar Ahmad Rather, Secretary District Legal Services Authority, Muzamil Ahmad Wani, Munsif Court Tangdar Iqbal Rafiq and President Bar Association, Karnah and other concerned citizens and police officers.

On the occasion, Justice Wani inspected Court Complex Tangdar and reviewed the functioning of the Court.

He had a brief meeting with Principal District & Session Judge,  President Bar Association and concerned officers and reviewed the progress of Judiciary proceedings. He said various new and innovative methods have been introduced from time to time to make Justice delivery easier to the public.

He also interacted with the members of Bar Association Tangdar and said that all the issues raised would be resolved in a time-bound manner. Justice Wani expressed satisfaction over judicial facilities being provided along with legal services.

Later, Justice Wani visited Teetwal, the border area, situated at LOC zero line. He inaugurated a camp court there and interacted with Judicial and civil officials and the local public representatives who thanked him for the camp court inauguration.

People were informed about the commitment of the Judiciary for Justice at their doorsteps and were made familiar with their rights and social obligations.
