Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Wednesday paid obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple

Mir was accompanied by Senior Party leaders and prominent workers of the Ganderbal District.

J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Ghulam Ahmad Mir paid obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple at Tulmulla in Ganderbal District and prayed for peace, stability and prosperity of the people.

JKPCC President met the devotees especially Kashmir pandit brethren present there and wished them a very happy and prosperous Mela Kheer Bhawani while extending his felicitations to the community.

On this occasion, JKPCC President said that Mela Kheer Bhawani is a unique and blessed occasion reflecting the age-old tradition of togetherness and harmony, it will continue to lead the people of all shades living in J&K on the path of amity and brotherhood.

The auspicious occasion reflects the composite culture of Kashmiriyat in the true sense. “I wish my Kashmir Pandit Brethren a very happy and prosperous Mela Kheer Bhawani,” Mir added and hoped the occasion shall usher in the era of prosperity and peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

Those who accompanied JKPCC President and paid obeisance included JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi, DCC Presidents Sahil Farooq, Abdul Gani Khan, Umer Jaan, Congress Leader Prem Sharma and prominent workers of Ganderbal.
